The National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea started international material exchange in the 1950s, soon
after the establishment of the Library in 1952. Now, the National Assembly Library is exchanging materials with 186
institutions of 46 countries all over the world.

Through the international material exchange, the National Assembly Library collects materials of overall subjects and
formats. In exchange, we send periodicals, monographs, and DVDs that could help understand Korea.
